Surun murtamat kasvot
mieli riekaleina
Oma syli tuntuu kylmältä
    kolkolta
voin laskea kylkiluuni
jos keskityn oikein tarkasti

Toinen geenien kantaja
ei kuollut leikkauspöydälle
Pelästyminen ytimiä myöten
    huokaus
voin hengittää tätä ilmaa
tietäen, että sinäkin teet niin

Hengitän kaupungin haaleaa ilmaa
taivas lyö tulta
höyryni katkeaa

Auto ajaa vauhdilla ohi
roiskaisten vedet jalkakäytävälle
katson uutta lammikkoa

Valo piirtyy hiljalleen totuudeksi tietoisuuteesi
